Whisper to me
Those words from memory
What happened to those days long past
We were naive
We felt the pain as things around us crashed
Do you still cherish those moments that used to be
When we were innocent and had stars in our eyes
When we thought all that was spoken was truth
We had yet to have those walls torn down by lies
Whisper to me
That you still remember
Those times we had
With emotions so tender
Those times now long gone
Yet still they remind us as they linger on
We seem to remember only the good
Well past the memories dawn
