When the world is too much
When I can no longer deal
When I have lost touch
When I can no longer feel
Flip that switch
Fall into that world
Which
Lets me live again
Remembering when
I could smile
Sweet music
Brings on the calm
Energizes
Vitalizes
A personal sunny day
When all else is rain and grey
It lifts
It shifts
All the bad to good
It lets my creativity flow
If only everyone understood
If only everyone could know
There is no drug
No love, nor hug
Can do what music can do
When the world is too much
When I can no longer deal
When I have lost touch
Music once more allows me to feel
